In 2014 Mike sent me the shock from his KTM 950 for the LE treatment. Rebuild, re-valve and re-spring. Sometime later he retired and decided he had too many motorcycles so he sold the 950. As it turns out, you can’t have too many motorcycles so he replaced the 950 with a Kawasaki Meanstreak. That’s a cruiser. Cruiser’s lack ground clearance but Mike had time on his hands so he made the bike taller and hacksawed the foot pegs. This resulted in more lean angle but now he’s dragging the frame rails. One day Mike and the guy who bought his 950 were out for a ride. Clearly a trade was in order and so a deal was struck. Now the 950 guy has a wicked Meanstreak and Mike has his 950 back. Fairytales do come true.
