Custom spring or just use a spacer?
Eibach and Hyper-Co make springs in 2 and 2 1/4 inch ID in lengths from 4 to 8 inches. Â I sell them for $110 each. Â But what do you do if the normal easy to get sizes don’t fit your shock? Â I can have a custom spring made for $175 and two weeks. Â Or I can cut one of my ready made $30 spacers to the length needed, polish it up and dazzle you. Â This one is for a FZ-09.

Jim’s work keeps showing up. Â This is why I kept the same stickers. Â You can tell Jim’s stickers from mine, Jim’s have the old street address and phone number, mine just have the web address. Â A sign of the times.

Factory Development Rider Experience
Photo caption: Â Fischer MRX “Particle” early in it’s development at Lindemann Engineering.
Two Fischer MRX’s live at Lindemann Engineering, one, Wave, is new with zero miles. The other, Particle, is a Gentleman’s Track Day/Race bike. The goal of this project is to develop these bikes into fun track bikes. A new sponsor is being sought.
We could sell the bikes and all the stuff including, extra new forks, engine, race body work, wheels, etcetera, etcetera. But what we’d like to do is find someone who loves the idea and wants to join the project.
The ideal person would live close enough to Lindemann Engineering to visit the shop and ride at neighborhood tracks like Auto Club Speedway, Willow, CVR and Buttonwillow or be willing to travel here. A full size adult would be best as the MRX is a tall bike. You don’t need great development skills as I can teach you how by sending you out on a different bike with known changes and teach you the what and why of chassis set up. But you do need to be mature and enjoy working to find solutions. You will need some spending money.
For more information, you can see the project’s progress on the LE Blog. Contact Ed Sorbo at Lindemann Engineering, le-suspension.com

Got Beacon?
How many times have you forgotten your beacon at a track? I was at a Kart track event, this Kart guy figured out a way to never drive off without his beacon. Genius is where you find it.
