This is the counter shaft sprocket cover from my SV650. The stock steel mounting bolt spacers on the right weigh 20 grams. I just made aluminum spacers that weigh 6 grams. Why not just remove the cover? To keep our fingers out of the chain/sprocket in a crash just like a chain fin and chain guard for the rear sprocket. Lindemann Engineering, attention to detail.
