8th out of 26 in P1, 3.4 back from the leader. But check out my riders Lorenzo like times: After working his times down in his first ride on the bike his last two laps were 2.19.458 & 2.19.487. Some time to think, a gearing change, different fork springs and oil and back out for Q1. First flying lap was a 2.18.619, guess he liked the changes. 7th out of 26, 2.2 back from the leaders who went .5 faster than P1.
Tony Nolley‘s front rim was on the bike for all this. The weather is perfect but the rim on the bike was bent from crash damage. Thanks to Tony Nolley I was able to roll over to Dunlop early and ask them to swap the tires for me then see the KTM guys later for a new wheel.
Another gearing change, some cleaning and we are ready for tomorrow.
