It was cold, windy and wet this weekend at Willow Springs for the final round of the 2010 season. Laps times were slow but the big boys and girls raced anyway.
Tony S. won again in Novice 250 GP riding my TZ 250 having clinched this Championship a few months ago. The improvements we made to the bike since the last ride were all good.
In Novice Ninja Cup, riding his 250 Ninja, Tony battled for third all race long. Tony was in third place twice but finished about one bike length back in 4th. This was Tony’s best Ninja finish to date. Tony took 4th in this championship!
Andy E. won the Roadracing World 250 GP class with a come from behind run to take 1st at the line and the Championship by 44 points. He also won the Solo GT-GP endurance class.
Mike G. won the Solo GT-Light Championship, the Battle Of The Twins Lightweight Championship and won for the day in 660 Singles. And that does not mean he’s single, MG is happily married to the lady with a beret.
First time racer Dave P. rode his GSX-R1000 to 2nd in his first race ever, in the EDventure Racing New Racer Race. Dave used full wet tires on Saturday in the WSMC new racer school to drag his knee in the rain passing his instructor who was on DOT tires.
Now it’s time to get ready for next weekends Track Daz event on Sat & Sun back at Willow.
