Streets of Willow this weekend.
I’m off to the track today to get set up for a Track Daz track day tomorrow at Streets then the WSMC races on Sat & Sun. See you there!
Squeak Be Gone!
The house door of my RV has been squeaking for years. Some of the noise was coming from the latch. But I could never make it stop completely. This time when I was checking the door I noticed that the window glass could move so I took the frame apart and found that the gasket is worn out. I made a temporary duck tape gasket and the squeak is gone. Driving is so much nicer now.
Team Tuned at Miller
The boys from Bermuda are having fun but the Long Course here is = to about 5 laps of their track so they have some getting use to it, to do. Until the sun comes out it’s a little cold for them too.
I’ve been talking to a few people, you know who you are: 26 psi hot. Other people don’t get to tell you what you can and can’t do. Watch where you step.
Weekend of Lead/Follow
The Track Club is holding 3 days Halloween of fun at Buttonwillow on the last weekend of this month. Fri, Sat & Sun, Oct. 29th – 31st.
I plan to be there because The Track Club lets me ride for free if I bring a client. I have a few people lined up so far. If you join us you can split my travel cost with the others and you all save.
Thunder Hill Report
Bill and the Gang are happy.
Friends from Hawaii visited.
Bill wants smaller changes but likes how his bike works now.
Dave lets me change whatever I want because the bike just keeps feeling better. He always looks surprised that I understand what his bike needs after he answers my questions about the bike.
Mark doesn’t care he just rides. So I took away some damping.
Sebastiao made all the changes to his R-6 just like I told him to and is much happier with the bike now. I even fixed the shock mounts so he can remove the shock with out taking off the tank.
Some guy named Mike stopped by, his rider is faster than these guys. His rider won Daytona Sportbike…
Thunder Hill
I all set up right next to AFM tech at Thunder Hill. Stop by and say Hi.
Thunder Hill with AFM
I’ll be at Thunder Hill this weekend for the AFM races with Bill and his Gang. Look for my rig and say Hi.
Let me point something out.
After the race.
Anybody want to unload my rig for me? Never mind, I’ll do it myself, again. Why is loading for a race weekend always more fun than unloading?
